Great article–thanks for keeping it real!
As I’ve heard said–
hardship builds humility; the end result is good, but the road to get there can be bumpy.
I think we are all experiencing some type of humility among the rank and file of politics, and public these days. –a little dose of humility can go along way.

Thanks, Michael. I’m curious myself to see where this will head. But until we can confront our cognitive errors head on, I suspect we’ll continue to spin our wheels on this issue.

Thanks, Diane. I enjoyed reading your post. The history of certification (or credentialing) in California is a long one and all prior attempts have failed because no state agency wanted to take it on and the Legislature was not inclined to create a new one. I am told that the ABA Section of Dispute Resolution determined a couple of years ago that a national credentialing program was not feasible. So we will watch and see where this goes.
