Homer LaRueNYPD officer detective and ADR professional Jeff Thompson has posted an interview with new ABA Section on Dispute Resolution chair Homer LaRue at his blog, Enjoy Mediation.

LaRue discusses the Section’s priorities for the coming years (but alas, does not reveal which blogs he reads regularly).

[Update, 8/28/2009: Jeff just alerted me that he has been promoted to NYPD detective. Jeff, congratulations on the promotion! I know it's well deserved.]

Diane!!
I do not believe in jinx’s (sp?) but if I did, you would have ruined me- I have not made detective yet… I am still (happily) ‘just’ a police officer. :)
Thanks for listing this!

Oops, sorry, Jeff, for the promotion I inadvertently gave you! I corrected it in the post. Thanks to you for the terrific interview – and for the upcoming interview series with others in the ADR field. That’s quite a line-up you’ve put together! Really looking forward to it. Here’s a link to your post announcing the series.

I’ve just had to correct the post yet again – Jeff just got a promotion – he is now indeed a detective in the NYPD. (Looks like I was right the first time. Now if only I could accurately pick profitable stocks, winning lottery numbers, and World Series champions!)

Jeff, congratulations, my friend!
