[...] I have been tweeting in the world of twitter and wanted to comment on my findings and thoughts regarding Twitter. First I must confess that when I first thought of Twitter, I said something to the effect, “why do I want to know what Joe is having for lunch today?” But I am glad to report that I did not persist in this previous state of mind and am glad that I ventured into the world of twitter. Several mediation bloggers have commented on their experiences in the world of twitter including Tammy Lenski in her post Twitter 101 for Mediators or Diane Levin in her article Negotiating Twitter: A mediator test drives the hot social media craze.
Diane,

I'm afraid I'm not up to the technology, nor, in all candor, do I have that much to say. These last few years have been a transition of import, externally in the world around us and internally, for me, in the readjustment of my own perceptions about the way things work. I'm intrigued, though, about what I am beginning to see as the linkage between law, conflict resolution, and religion...the latter word not in the sense of our institutional and doctrinal conceptualizations, but in the sense of "re-ligio", that is linking back to fundamentals of the human experience and how it relates to the unfolding realities around us. So, who knows? Thanks for the nudge. John

Your post intrigues me, as does the sociability of tweeting, and leads me to respond "Hmmm", as in "I'm thinking" or perhaps as in "hmmming bird"...

According to Wikipedia,

The term tweet, and words and expressions starting with tweet, may refer to:
•	A bird song (onomatopoeia), the sound produced by a bird, especially small birds
o	The small bird itself (childish, also named tweetybird)
•	A high-frequency sound from a loudspeaker or tweeter
•	Tweet, an American R&B/soul singer-songwriter
•	Tweetie Pie, a 1947 Academy Award-winning animated short
•	Tweety Bird, a fictional character in various cartoons (Tweetie Pie being one of them)
•	T-37 Tweet trainer and A-37 Dragonfly light-attack aircraft (the latter aka Super Tweet)
•	Tweety González, an Argentinian musician
•	A micro-blog post on the Twitter social network site
o	To post a micro-blog post via Twitter

Perhaps we are learning wonderfully inoffensive ways to stay in touch...songbirds that we are.
