Therese, thank you so very much for the kind words -- I am so pleased to know that you find this blog helpful to you in your work!

In particular, thank you for letting me know that this post was useful to you in your capacity as a member of several boards. That was my hope in writing this, and I appreciate that you let me know I succeeded. You really made my day when you posted this comment -- thanks, Therese!

Hi Diane,

I have always enjoyed reading what you write. It gives me time to reflect on how I feel on issues and keeps me updated in our field.

With that in mind I really was interested in this article. I think you make salient points with regards to membership .Especially with regards to pricing for many of us who want to be involved but at some point the dollar just doesn't stretch far enough.

I serve on several Boards and am sending a copy of this to our board members so they can weigh in and see if we are meeting the needs of our constituents.
I have been being a contact person lately for SCMA as a Board Member and try very hard to answer all the emails that come my way in a timely and thorough manner because I agree we owe our members that respect.

Thanks for sharing your blog !!!!
