Will the end of religion bring world peace? Controversial author argues yes

In “Why Religion Must End“, a Beliefnet interview that will surely offend almost any person of faith, controversial author Sam Harris argues that the only way to end world conflict is for people to embrace reason over religion.

    This is a ridiculous opinion.
    Surely the author has not seen the reality of the situation.
    All over the world people are most passionate and even violent about their beliefs.

    We use reason to temper our decisions, not to control them. Humans are passionate people that have feelings.

    That is how God made us !
