What a great post! Hilarious, yet thought provoking.

While watching the new TV show Deal or No Deal I witnessed the tension between loss and gain in action. While there isn't space to explain the entire show, the game is geared towards the desire not to lose.

The contestant I saw actually played the game with a maximize gain perspective, meaning she rejected every opportunity to avoid loss. She won the game and went home with a lot of cash.

I wonder what would happen if disputants adopted a similar attitude?

Try. Fail. Learn.
Dina
